It was a starry night to begin with, everyone was so excited when many of us attended the first movie under the stars organised by Ixora RC in Bedok. Of course, the RC member who sold the tickets to us was none other than our Kian Chuan.6.30pm, we were gathered at the amphithreater, some queueing for dinner and the younger ones queueing for the balloons sculptures. Dinner boxes with fried fish, roasted chicken, cauliflower and one piece of tofu were served. We also had a box of assorted cutted fruits and jelly cocktail for dessert. Yummy!!
Everything went well with the movie starting at about 7.50 pm. Everyone was so engrossed in the movie "881", as the sky started to turn greyish. The RC members started to pray in their heart that the sky would not open up. Wind came and blew away some the grey clouds....and we thought it would not rain after all.
But the good weather was not to last and right at about 8.45pm, the sky opened up, starting with a little rain drops here and there, and eventually, a full blown storm came. We all hurried home with some going to Chuan's house, and best of all, bringing back this wonderful experience with us. Hopefully, there are more such outings to look forward to.
Wait a minute, what about the lucky draw prizes ???
